District 1 is North of Poway Rd, West of Community Rd, South of Twin Peaks Rd and all homes west of Pomerado Rd and North of Poway Rd to just past of St Michaels Church.

Poway has moved toward district elections. In this current election if you live in District 1 (my district) then you will vote for a representative for our district and a representative at large. The at large person will serve for 2 years and then in 2020 the entire city will be in districts and then you will only vote for the mayor at large and your district representative from that point on.
If that seems confusing, I understand, it's a strange election year for all of us.

Please tell your friends in District 1 to vote for me. Voters in District 1 will also vote for an 2 year at large seat because of the retirement of Jim Cunningham. That person will only serve for 2 years and then the seat will be up for Vote for District 4.
